Ian Curran is a writer / lyricist currently living in Manchester, UK.
Ian studied at The University of Sheffield and graduated with a BA Hons in English Literature/Drama. Since then he has worked as an actor and presenter for companies such as Disney, Royal Caribbean Cruises and Sky TV.
With a passion for storytelling, Ian loves the theatre and enjoys writing for the stage. He has written the book and lyrics for 'Sleeping Beauty The Musical', the book for the UK Theatre Tour 'OH WHAT A NIGHT!' and the script for the concert shows 'The Mario Lanza Story' and 'One Night at The V.E Day Proms'.
Having worked in primary and secondary as a learning support for children with behavioural and educational difficulties, Ian is now focussing on writing children's books. Works in progress include the picture book 'The Owl That Could Only Twit' and the Middle Grade novel 'George's Gang of Grudges'.
